You use a Luxe XR or a GTX tank - the GTX family is the one to order. It covers the broadest resistance range we stock, from 0.15 ohm up to 0.6 ohm.
You want a tighter, cooler draw - choose the highest resistance available in your family, such as the 0.6 ohm GTX. Higher resistance means less power drawn, less vapour and a longer-lasting coil.
You want maximum vapour - the 0.15 ohm options in the GTX, GTI and NRG GT families are the lowest we stock and are built for direct-lung vaping at higher wattage.
You are unsure which family fits - match the coil family to the tank or pod name printed on your device, not to the brand alone. Vaporesso coil families are not interchangeable with one another.
Vaporesso coils are mesh-built across all three families stocked here. Mesh heats more evenly than a traditional wire coil, which generally means better flavour and a longer usable life before the coil starts to taste burnt.
A coil's resistance, measured in ohms, sets how it behaves. Lower resistance draws more power and makes more vapour and heat; higher resistance is cooler and tighter, and usually lasts longer. Run your device within the wattage range printed on the coil.
Prime a new coil before first use: add a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, fill the tank, and let it stand for several minutes. Firing a dry coil is the most common cause of a burnt taste on the very first puff.
Most coils last one to two weeks of regular use. Sweetened and dark e-liquids shorten that considerably because sugars caramelise on the mesh. Replace the coil when flavour drops off or you notice any burnt taste.
No. GTX and GTI are separate families with different bases and they do not swap. Match the coil family to the tank or pod your device uses.
The Luxe XR uses an empty pod that takes a separate coil rather than a built-in one. Check your pod and the coil product page to confirm the exact fit before ordering.
Almost always because it was not primed. Put a few drops of e-liquid on the cotton, fill the tank, and wait several minutes before the first puff. Chain vaping at high wattage on a fresh coil causes the same problem.
