Which Aspire Coil Fits Your Tank?

The Nautilus name covers three separate fittings - this is the most common Aspire ordering mistake.

Coil family Fits Notes
Nautilus BVC Nautilus, Nautilus 2, Nautilus Mini The long-running standard Nautilus coil
Nautilus 2S Nautilus 2S Its own fitting despite the shared name
Nautilus AIO Nautilus AIO All-in-one specific - not standard Nautilus
Nautilus X U-Tech Nautilus X U-Tech is a separate fitting again
Cleito Cleito tanks Sub-ohm family
PockeX PockeX all-in-one Long-running AIO device
BP BP-compatible devices See product page
AF Mesh AF-compatible devices Mesh build
BVC for BDC BDC-era hardware Legacy fitting, still stocked

Which Aspire Coil Do You Need?

Start with the exact model on your tank. "Nautilus" alone is not enough - a Nautilus 2S, a Nautilus AIO and a Nautilus X each take a different coil, and none of them interchange.

You have the classic Nautilus or Nautilus 2 - the BVC family is what you want. It is the longest-running Aspire coil and still widely stocked.

You want a mesh build - the AF Mesh family heats more evenly than traditional wire and generally gives cleaner flavour for longer.

You have older Aspire hardware - the BVC for BDC coils cover the legacy fitting, and PockeX and Cleito coils are still available.

About Aspire Coils

Aspire supports its hardware for an unusually long time. That is why this range looks so wide - coils for devices released years apart are all still stocked, which is good news if you own older gear and a reason to be precise when ordering.

Resistance sets behaviour: lower resistance means more power, more vapour and more heat; higher resistance is cooler, tighter and usually longer-lasting. Stay within the wattage range printed on the coil.

Prime every new coil - e-liquid onto the cotton, fill, then wait several minutes before the first puff. A dry first fire is the usual cause of a burnt taste on a new coil.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all Nautilus coils the same?

No - this is the most common Aspire mistake. Standard Nautilus and Nautilus 2 take BVC coils, the Nautilus 2S takes its own, the Nautilus AIO takes AIO coils and the Nautilus X takes U-Tech coils.

Which coil does the PockeX use?

PockeX coils, which are specific to that all-in-one device and are still stocked.

How long does an Aspire coil last?

Usually one to two weeks with regular use. Dark and sweetened e-liquids shorten that considerably.

Does Aspire still make coils for older devices?

Yes. Coils for long-running hardware such as the PockeX, Cleito and the BDC-era fittings are still available here.

Where can I buy Aspire coils in Canada?

NYX Vape ships across Canada with free shipping on orders over $99 and stock at six Greater Toronto Area stores. Same-day local delivery across the Toronto GTA is free on orders over $75.
