An open pod system is a vaping device with refillable pods. You fill the pod with your choice of e-liquid, giving you full control over flavour and nicotine strength. The pods are reusable and only need replacing when the coil wears out.
Most open pods have a side or top fill port. Remove the silicone plug, fill slowly to avoid air bubbles, replace the plug, and let the pod sit for 5-10 minutes before first use to allow the coil to saturate.
Replace the pod or coil every 1-2 weeks, or when you notice a decline in flavour or a burnt taste. Using sweetened e-liquids may require more frequent replacement.
Salt nicotine e-liquids in 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG ratios work best in most open pod systems. Higher VG juices (70/30 and above) are generally too thick for pod coils and can cause dry hits.
