The SMOK Novo 5 Pod Kit was a compact, pocket-sized MTL device with a loyal following, and plenty of them are still in daily use. The Novo 5 kit itself has been discontinued and is no longer available at NYX Vape - but if you already own one, you are not stranded. Already own a Novo 5? Pods are still available
The part that wears out on a Novo 5 is the pod, not the device. As long as your battery still holds a charge, a fresh pod brings the flavour and draw back to where it was when the kit was new.
We continue to stock the SMOK Novo 5 Replacement Pod (3 Pack) [CRC] in the 0.7ohm MTL version - the same pod the kit originally shipped with. Your Novo 5 supports a 0.5ohm-2.5ohm resistance range, so it works with both freebase e-liquid and nicotine salts.
Getting the most out of the device you have
- Prime a new pod: fill it, then let it sit five to ten minutes before the first draw.
- Use the air-inlet ring to tune the draw tighter or looser rather than chasing it with different e-liquid.
- Charge over Type-C and avoid running the 900mAh battery flat every cycle.
- If flavour has gone muted or the draw tastes burnt, change the pod before you blame the device.
